The first poster and trailer for the thriller “Crisis” are out!
Set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic, “Crisis” features three interwoven stories that highlight the greed, violence and tragedy of the drug war. An agent named Jake Kelly (Armie Hammer) is tracking down a drug trafficker that arranged a multi-cartel Fentanyl smuggling operation between Canada and the U.S. His mission appears to intertwine with Claire Reimann’s (Evangeline Lilly), who is an architect recovering from an oxycodone addiction searching for the truth behind her son’s involvement with narcotics and subsequent disappearance. Meanwhile, Dr. Tyrone Brower (Gary Oldman) is a university professor who battles unexpected revelations about his employer, a pharmaceutical giant bringing a new “non-addictive” painkiller to market.
Additional cast members include Greg Kinnear, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Lily-Rose Depp, Kid Cudi, Duke Nicholson, Veronica Ferres and Martin Donovan. “Crisis” is writer and director Nicholas Jarecki’s follow-up to his acclaimed thriller “Arbitrage,” starring Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon.
Principal photography for the film began in February 2019 in Montreal and Detroit. Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers and Quiver Distribution acquired the distribution rights in December 2020. The film will be released in theaters across the United States on Feb. 26, followed by a digital release on March 5.
I am very happy to let you know that the Evangeline Lilly Network has a new look! I hope you all like it as much as I do!
Thank you so much to the talented Cherry Gem Design for the beautiful header. Also thanks to MonicaNDesign for the theme, which is the same as the site had before, but since I think it’s beautiful I didn’t want to change it, I just made some color changes.
I also want to tell you to stay tuned to the site as soon I will be uploading some new photos of Evangeline, and I will also finish completing the screen captures of the “Lost” series. I will also do a big update of the video archive.
Thank you all for supporting this site. And please follow @ELillyNetwork on Twitter for more updates.
Quiver Distribution has acquired the U.S. rights to writer and director Nicholas Jarecki’s dramatic thriller Crisis (previously titled “Dreamland”), starring Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, and Evangeline Lilly.
Quiver will release the film in theatres nationwide on Feb. 26, 2021, followed by a digital and on-demand release on March 5. The story centers on a multi-cartel Fentanyl smuggling operation as an architect recovering from an Oxycodone addiction track down the truth behind her son’s disappearance. A university professor battles unexpected revelations about his employer, a pharmaceutical company bringing a new “non-addictive” painkiller to market.
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly return for Ant-Man 3, now titled ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’. Also, during the 2020 Investor Day presentation of The Walt Disney Company by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios and Creative Director of Marvel, it was revealed that Kathryn Newton is joining the cast as Cassie Lang, Scott Lang’s daughter.
Paul Rudd reprises his role as Ant-Man, alongside Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp. Joining them are returning cast members Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne — aka, Hope’s parents.
Additionally, Jonathan Majors will portray Kang the Conqueror, with three-time repeat Ant-Man director Peyton Reed returning behind the camera.
After several long months, Evangeline reappears and announces on her Instagram account that she will participate in GO Gala as she has done before, although this time she will do so virtually for Covid-19 reasons. Exciting right?
She will be participating in the event this Saturday, October 24, to help raise funds and thus help vulnerable children who need it in this difficult time that the world is going through.
Everyone can see it since it is free, but they have to register in advance here.
According to sources close to WGTC – the same ones who said the Fast & Furious franchise would be heading to space and a new Scream movie is in development, both of which were correct – Evangeline Lilly is being courted by the producers to reprise her iconic role of Tauriel at some point during the show’s run.
From what we understand, the series will eventually catch up to The Hobbit timeline – as it’s said to take place before the events of that story – which is when audiences were first introduced to Lilly’s Tauriel. Once that happens, Amazon would like the actress to return to don her notorious pointy ears onscreen. They’ve allegedly already discussed the idea with the 41-year-old as well, who we’re hoping is receptive to it and agrees to journey back to Middle-earth.
Of course, the actress garnered critical acclaim and several award nominations for her portrayal of the heroic Woodland Elf. Though the warrior was not originally in any of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work, she quickly became a hit with fans after her appearance in the second and third films of the trilogy. As such, seeing more of her in any capacity would definitely be a treat for viewers.
Whether Tauriel’s recurrence would just be via a cameo or as a permanent member of the cast remains to be seen, but we know for sure that she won’t be the only big name character returning to the franchise. Galadriel, Elrond, and Sauron have also all been confirmed for the series, along with many all-new faces.
Tell us, though, would you like to see Evangeline Lilly return at some point during the show? Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings is expected to debut at some point in 2021.
Recently Evangeline attended the gala held by the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST). Check the gallery to see all the photos, which were published by Evangeline in her instagram account, with the following message:
Angelman Syndrome is genetic disorder that is said to mainly impact the nervous system of those born with it, but how it effects the LIVES of those impacted by it is impossible to understate. I was so blessed and honoured to spend an evening meeting parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, scientists, and donors who are on the verge of genetic breakthrough to possibly CURE the disorder. Sunday night had me laughing, crying and feeling immeasurably grateful for the health and well-being of my own little sons. Counting my blessings today.
