Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly return for Ant-Man 3, now titled ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’. Also, during the 2020 Investor Day presentation of The Walt Disney Company by Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios and Creative Director of Marvel, it was revealed that Kathryn Newton is joining the cast as Cassie Lang, Scott Lang’s daughter.
Paul Rudd reprises his role as Ant-Man, alongside Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp. Joining them are returning cast members Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne — aka, Hope’s parents.
Additionally, Jonathan Majors will portray Kang the Conqueror, with three-time repeat Ant-Man director Peyton Reed returning behind the camera.
After several long months, Evangeline reappears and announces on her Instagram account that she will participate in GO Gala as she has done before, although this time she will do so virtually for Covid-19 reasons. Exciting right?
She will be participating in the event this Saturday, October 24, to help raise funds and thus help vulnerable children who need it in this difficult time that the world is going through.
Everyone can see it since it is free, but they have to register in advance here.
According to sources close to WGTC – the same ones who said the Fast & Furious franchise would be heading to space and a new Scream movie is in development, both of which were correct – Evangeline Lilly is being courted by the producers to reprise her iconic role of Tauriel at some point during the show’s run.
From what we understand, the series will eventually catch up to The Hobbit timeline – as it’s said to take place before the events of that story – which is when audiences were first introduced to Lilly’s Tauriel. Once that happens, Amazon would like the actress to return to don her notorious pointy ears onscreen. They’ve allegedly already discussed the idea with the 41-year-old as well, who we’re hoping is receptive to it and agrees to journey back to Middle-earth.
Of course, the actress garnered critical acclaim and several award nominations for her portrayal of the heroic Woodland Elf. Though the warrior was not originally in any of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work, she quickly became a hit with fans after her appearance in the second and third films of the trilogy. As such, seeing more of her in any capacity would definitely be a treat for viewers.
Whether Tauriel’s recurrence would just be via a cameo or as a permanent member of the cast remains to be seen, but we know for sure that she won’t be the only big name character returning to the franchise. Galadriel, Elrond, and Sauron have also all been confirmed for the series, along with many all-new faces.
Tell us, though, would you like to see Evangeline Lilly return at some point during the show? Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings is expected to debut at some point in 2021.
Recently Evangeline attended the gala held by the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST). Check the gallery to see all the photos, which were published by Evangeline in her instagram account, with the following message:
Angelman Syndrome is genetic disorder that is said to mainly impact the nervous system of those born with it, but how it effects the LIVES of those impacted by it is impossible to understate. I was so blessed and honoured to spend an evening meeting parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, scientists, and donors who are on the verge of genetic breakthrough to possibly CURE the disorder. Sunday night had me laughing, crying and feeling immeasurably grateful for the health and well-being of my own little sons. Counting my blessings today.

Definitely 2019 is being a great year for our favorite actress. Evangeline has been chosen for a new project!
This time along with Jason Sudeikis they were chosen to star in “Till Death”, the action thriller being helmed by Aharon Keshales, who co-directed 2013 breakout Israeli horror Big Bad Wolves.
The film tells the story of convicted criminal Jimmy who gets parole early after serving twelve years for armed robbery. Upon his release, he vows to give Annie, his childhood love, now dying from cancer, the best last year of her life – unfortunately, it’s not that simple. Keshales penned the script with Navot Papushado and Kai Mark.
The news portal Daily Mail recently published an article about the incredible change of look of Evangeline. You can read it below.
She went to extreme lengths for a transformation shared on social media.
Evangeline Lilly completely shaved her head during a series of videos shared to Instagram throughout the weekend.
The 40-year-old actress asked her fans if she should ‘stop or keep going’ after already trimming her tresses to a short bob.
She added: ‘For those of you that follow me on The Squickerwonkers, you already know,’ alluding to the children’s book series she began publishing in 2014.
for those who don’t know her books, she posted a snap of her shaved head on Instagram on Saturday as she sat in the passengers seat of a car.
Evangeline captioned it, simply: ‘Hello. It’s a BEAUTIFUL day.’
It seemed the majority of her followers liked her new look, with just a few fans asking what inspired the cut.
But the Lost star didn’t indicate on social media why she cut her hair.
However, she has a number of projects coming up, so the new look could be part of her preparation for any number of roles.
Evangeline has been cast in sci-fi mini-series Albedo about a murder mystery aboard an isolated space station. The six-part series has yet to set a release date.
She will also star with Armie Hammer, Gary Oldman and Sam Worthington in writer-director Nicholas Jarecki’s drug smuggling drama, Dreamland, due out next year.
And her romantic comedy-drama Happy Life is in pre-production.

Much like his fellow Marvel cohorts Joe and Anthony Russo, Reed started off in the comedy worlds of TV and movies, making his feature directorial debut with cheerleading comedy Bring It On. Movies such as Down with Love, The Break-Up and Yes Man followed.
He was brought into the Marvel universe when, late in the movie’s development process, he replaced Edgar Wright to helm Ant-Man. The movie grossed $519.3 million. The sequel, which Reed was more involved with, grew to a $622.6 million gross.
Reed is repped by WME and Sloane Offer.
