Angelman Syndrome is genetic disorder that is said to mainly impact the nervous system of those born with it, but how it effects the LIVES of those impacted by it is impossible to understate. I was so blessed and honoured to spend an evening meeting parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, scientists, and donors who are on the verge of genetic breakthrough to possibly CURE the disorder. Sunday night had me laughing, crying and feeling immeasurably grateful for the health and well-being of my own little sons. Counting my blessings today.
